First time ever planting with the GP drill. Made many adjustments to depth 4-4 (seed was 1.5" deep), lots of open areas due to learning width of swath (GPS wasn't helping). Planted Xitavo 3014 (2890 seeds/#) at #50 and then increased to #55 at the center post in south headland. Lots of corn stalks and root balls plugging the rows. Lifted drill slightly in "fluffy" soil (mostly in new ground but not all) to help stop the plugging. Total of 70.62 A planted.
