Planted NW headland and 1 round. Woods was very wet, had to lift drill. Quit after noticing old 900# coulters were not penetrating as deep as newer 1200# coulters. In addition, the 900# assemblies were so wore out that the disc openers did not follow the cuts. The seed trenches were also different, 1200# rows were 1 1/2" deep with good seed/soil coverage. The 900# rows were only 1" deep and some seeds were exposed. Soil was dry even in 1 1/2" trenches, not enough to germ. Took drill home to replace all 18 900# coulter assemblies that were left to update.
