Planted P34A59PR soybean seed at 190k population (#19 setting). No-tilled into the green cereal rye. Set rolling harrows to lightest pressure setting, increased down pressure, the closing wheels left at 3rd notch from the lightest setting. Areas where cereal rye was thin and ground exposed, the surface soil would "explode" instead of crumble or cut, the areas covered by rye planted smoothly. Rolling harrow helped to crumble clods and cover exposed beans. Planted at 1-1 1/2" depth. Ran Big Blue at 4.7 mph, 1500 rpm, 10th gear. Stopped at one round into the lane headland.
