No-till drilling beans into dead standing rye, vetch, and crimson clover cover crops. Planted P34 (and leftover P30) Plenish beans. Left the drill at RJ settings (#19, 3rd notch depth, mid range down pressure), coulter cart at max pressure. Soil conditions were perfect. Enough moisture to set seed in furrow and surface crust crumbled nicely over the seed trenches (even in bare ground). Very few seeds found uncovered. Started at 8:30a. Rained out at 1:30p after 40 acres planted (Jess acre counter). 10th gear, 4.8 - 5 mph, 1550 rpm.
