Planted Plenish P34 soybeans. Avg population of 196,800. #19 setting on drill. Conditions were good for drill in both bare ground and cereal rye. Soybeans were set in moisture and surface was crumbled on top of trench. Coulter cart was at max until in sand on east end of long rounds, lifted cart to #8 as the seed was being buried too deep. Steve roller crimped standing cereal rye ahead of drill. Duck pond was too wet in center, other flooded out (bare) areas were fit to plant. Planted from 11a - 7p. Jess acre counter: 56.2 acres. Drill acre counter (adj): 54.9 acres (1028 start, 1087.4 end).
