Finished planting of cereal rye cover crop. Goal was 80#/A, tried #22 setting, bottom cup notch, light disk opener & rolling harrow down pressure, coulter cart at #8. Gave field more time to dry in 80 degree temps with wind the day before. Started at 4:45 am to beat chance of rain. 15.8 A planted, averaging 82.25#/A. Big Max: 12th gear, 1440 rpm, 5.5 mph.
