Started field with “old” Plenish 3.0’s (about 51 acres including all headlands). Cereal rye was very tall and mature in areas. Started new 3.0’s on the left side of the drill. Planted to 68.5 acres, about halfway between the last 2 poles on the lane then added 2.9’s. Moved all the 3.0’s to the right side of drill and filled left with 2.9’s. Planted to about 91.3 acres and filled both sides with 2.9’s. Dropped seeding rate from #21 to #19 as the 2.9’s were a smaller seed. Old 3.0’s were 2482 seeds/#, new 3.0’s were 2227 seeds/#, and 2.9’s were 2700 seeds/#. Estimated
