Replaced blower fan and resistor speed control (behind glove box).

Engine oil and filter changed. Added AMSOil 5w-40 European Diesel oil. Oil testing results were higher in metals than previous but still in normal range. Possibly from the few hard winter starts.

New rear axle & mounting bolts, wheel bearings (30 mm stub axles!! NOT STANDARD) & hubs, brake shields, ABS sensors, shocks and springs. New brake fluid.

New battery

New rear brake pads.

(Estimated date & miles) New front ceramic brake pads and rotors, new passenger side tie rod, new ball joint(s?), new control arms. Shortly after installation, new brake master cylinder.

Radiator replaced, new coolant hose to and from Frost Heater, cleaned barbs and added RTV, changed thermostat, thermostat housing, temperature sensor (reads on dash), cleaned coolant buildup on housings/mounting surfaces, fixed/reinforced coolant glow plugs, changed gasket between coolant glow plug flange and cylinder head. New G12 coolant refilled. New front left ABS sensor installed.

Changed engine oil and filter, fuel filter. AMSOil 5w-40 European synthetic and Wix oil filter.

Changed engine oil and filter. Added 4.5L of AMSOil 5w-40 European Formula oil. Sample sent to lab. Changed air filter. Rotated tires, rears to front, fronts crossed to rear. Filled tires to 45 psi.

New steel brake line from ABS to DS rear. New brake line (steel and rubber) to caliper. Replaced DOT 4 brake fluid. New rear tires.

New DS CV axle. New front tires.

Changed cabin filter & fuel filter. Rotated tires, rears to front, fronts crossed to rears.

Severe coolant leak found to be steam line into the block. Replaced line and refilled coolant with distilled water. Replaced fuel lines before and after fuel filter. Replaced struts, found passenger side outer tie rod boot was ripped and joint was wore out. Replaced PS tie rod end (lifetime warranty).

Driver side wheel bearing replaced, outside CV boot was changed, and tie rod boot changed as they were both ripped.

Changed engine oil and filter, changed transmission oil, air filter, cabin filter.

Changed engine oil and filter. Changed air and cabin as well. Rotated tires. AMSOIL 5w-40, Sample set for analysis.

Vacuum leak found to be in turbo actuator. Changed out and adjusted for full boost @ 18 mmHg vacuum. Attempted to change out N75 but boost did not work properly (something with Gator tune?). Changed back to original and after a little more driving, boost in 3rd and 4th gears came back!

TIMING BELT CHANGE: New Gates timing and serpentine belts, new water pump, new idler roller, new studs, new serpentine belt tensioner (whole thing), new timing belt tensioner, all new (necessary) hardware, new camshaft sprocket and seal. Fuel pump retimed with VAG-COM to "slightly retarded" setting and ECM was happy (it was too rich after timing belt change). Other maintenance: new intercooler, new (red) poly sway bar bushings (it stopped the creaking in the front end!!). New rear brake pads and new caliper in the driver rear. Parking cable armature filled with grease to keep road debris and water from seizing up mechanism and helper springs added to also help keep brakes from dragging.

Changed engine oil and filter. Added 4.8 qts. 5w-40 AMSOil European Formula. Changed fuel filter, air and cabin filters.

Changed out brake carrier in the front passenger side to stop brake squeaking. The problem was caused because the caliper bolt would not tighten (oversized bolt already used). Kit included new wheel bearing, hub, brake dust shield, and axle nut. Added a new ABS sensor. Refreshed inside brake pad with disc brake quiet adhesive.
